These kiosks provide seamless access to all RTA services through an intuitive digital interface, enhancing customer experience with 24/7 availability and flexible service delivery.

Palm Vein Payment for Public Transport

An innovation on the nol card system, this biometric payment method uses palm vein recognition for secure, fast fare payments, linking users’ identity directly to their accounts.

AI-Powered Traffic Flow Optimisation

Leveraging AI algorithms, this system analyzes real-time traffic data to manage signals dynamically, reducing congestion and improving road safety across Dubai.

Enhancing Pedestrian and Cyclist Experience

RTA introduces a multi-functional smart pole equipped with amenities like seating, USB ports, air pumps, and cameras to boost comfort and encourage sustainable, soft mobility options.

Salahaldeen Almarzooqi, Director of Technology Governance Strategy at RTA, emphasized that these initiatives align with Dubai’s Digital Strategy 2030 and AI Strategy 2030, aiming to position Dubai as a global leader in smart, sustainable transport.
