Dubai's toll gate operator, Salik, has announced a new partnership with multi-line insurer Liva to provide seamless vehicle insurance services for drivers in the UAE.

As part of the collaboration, Salik will leverage its extensive database to send timely reminders for vehicle registration and insurance renewals. These alerts will guide drivers to a dedicated Liva-managed portal, where they can easily renew their motor insurance with just a few clicks.

The partnership aims to prevent lapses in insurance coverage and ensure smooth, on-time renewals. Salik’s CEO, Ibrahim Haddad, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the company's strategy to diversify its services and enhance customer satisfaction.

“While tolling remains our core business, we are proving our ability to offer a wide range of mobility-related solutions, which in turn creates new growth opportunities,”

said Haddad.

The service, set to roll out by the end of November, will also integrate with two new Salik toll gates, which will increase the total number of gates in Dubai to 10. This expansion marks another step in Salik’s push to enhance digital services and explore new revenue streams beyond tolling.

Liva’s CEO, Martin Ruegg, highlighted the convenience the partnership will bring to drivers, offering access to customized insurance solutions and a hassle-free claims process through a dedicated digital platform. This collaboration is expected to set new standards for digital insurance services, benefiting both Salik customers and the company’s stakeholders.

With this strategic move, Salik aims to redefine customer service in the UAE's vehicle insurance sector while continuing to drive business growth.
