Salik Company PJSC, the exclusive operator of Dubai's toll gates, has reported a net profit of AED704.0 million for the first half of 2026, underscoring the resilience of its business model even as traffic volumes eased following exceptional regional events earlier in the year.

The company posted total revenue of AED1,412.0 million for H1 2026, with EBITDA reaching AED975.6 million at a healthy margin of 69.1%. Net profit margin stood at 49.9%, reflecting continued operational efficiency despite a softer trading environment.

Chairman Mattar Al Tayer said the results demonstrated the strength of Salik's operating model, supported by Dubai's economic fundamentals and disciplined financial management. He noted that active accounts had grown to 2.9 million, pointing to expanding customer confidence in the company's services.

Chief Executive Officer Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad said the second quarter marked the beginning of a recovery in traffic flows, with volumes gradually rebuilding through April and May before returning to near-normal levels in June. Total trips reached 383.8 million across the half, while chargeable trips totalled 278.5 million.

Beyond toll operations, Salik continued to broaden its digital mobility ecosystem. Recent milestones include a 10-year agreement with Dubai Airports enabling seamless e-wallet parking payments across Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and the cargo terminal, a partnership with Valtrans covering more than 100 UAE locations, and new agreements with Shamal for Dubai Harbour and with Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority covering over 21,000 parking spaces across the emirate's free zones.

The company also reported progress on workforce development, with Emiratisation reaching 33.9% and its female workforce ratio rising to 23.6%, as it continues positioning itself for long-term growth aligned with Dubai's expanding economy.
