Saudi Arabia has introduced a visa-on-arrival initiative aimed at facilitating the entry of Umrah pilgrims from certain countries. This new system enables eligible pilgrims from various countries to enter Saudi Arabia using sea, air, or land routes.
Pilgrims arriving from the following countries are eligible to obtain visa-on-arrival:
- United States
- United Kingdom
- European Union countries
- New Zealand
- South Korea
Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia prolonged the duration of the Umrah visa to 90 days. Additionally, Saudi Arabia's Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, announced plans to expand the availability of accommodations for pilgrims in both Makkah and Madinah.
