The UAE Cybersecurity Council will take center stage at GISEC Global 2025, the region’s leading cybersecurity event, set to run from May 6 to 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The Council’s dynamic presence will spotlight the nation’s growing influence in digital defense, with high-impact initiatives designed to bolster global cooperation and advance cybersecurity innovation.
Over 25,000 professionals from 160 countries, including 450 Chief Information Security Officers and more than 750 digital brands, are expected to attend the event, themed “Securing an AI-Powered Future.” Tech giants like Microsoft, Amazon, Huawei, and Google will join top cybersecurity firms in showcasing advanced solutions to combat emerging threats.
A major highlight will be the International Cybersecurity Drill, engaging national cybersecurity centers and response teams from around the world in large-scale simulations and strategy workshops. The Council will also host an interactive Cyber Escape Room, offering hands-on threat analysis challenges for participants.
In a major step forward, the UAE will unveil its National Information Security Platform—an AI-powered system that enables real-time monitoring and streamlined compliance for government and critical infrastructure entities.
GISEC Global 2025 will also feature expert panels on AI threats, cross-border digital transformation, and cyber resilience. A public session will spotlight the role of women in cyber diplomacy, underlining the UAE’s push for inclusive leadership in tech.
Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, stressed the event’s importance amid rising digital threats, calling for unified international efforts. The Council will conclude its participation with an awards ceremony honoring excellence in cybersecurity leadership and collaboration.
Through GISEC Global 2025, the UAE reinforces its position as a global hub for cybersecurity and digital innovation.
