The UAE Government has partnered with Dell Technologies to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence applications for government operations and services, with a focus on turning AI opportunities into practical, scalable solutions.
The strategic collaboration, led by the Artificial Intelligence Office in the Government of the UAE, aims to strengthen knowledge exchange and support the adoption of Agentic AI across government entities. It includes developing prototypes and implementation-ready AI solutions, alongside specialised sessions to help government bodies identify use cases and opportunities for practical deployment.
Dr Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud, Director at the Artificial Intelligence Office, said the UAE is taking a proactive approach to using AI to enhance government operations and build national capabilities. He highlighted partnerships with global technology companies as important to accelerating knowledge transfer and developing solutions aligned with government priorities.
Walid Yehia, Managing Director for the South Gulf region at Dell Technologies, said the UAE has established an ambitious vision for the next phase of AI development. He noted that the collaboration will focus on translating this vision into practical applications and supporting the growth of an advanced AI ecosystem.
The partnership will also draw on Dell Technologies’ expertise in AI strategy and technology infrastructure, including its Dell AI Factory ecosystem, which supports the development, training and deployment of AI models at scale.
The collaboration comes during a US visit by more than 50 chief AI officers from federal and local UAE government entities and government leaders. Organised by the Artificial Intelligence Office in cooperation with the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, the visit is focused on examining global developments and applications in Agentic AI.
