Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has brought seven technology startups together with Oraseya Capital in a pitching session designed to expand access to funding and support the growth of Dubai’s digital economy.
Held in collaboration with Oraseya Capital, the investment arm of Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), the session gave startup founders an opportunity to present their business models, solutions and expansion plans to the investment team and its SANDBOX Investment Program.
The participating companies received immediate feedback on the requirements for the next stages of the evaluation and investment process. Several startups subsequently advanced to the next stage, where they could potentially benefit from the SANDBOX programme.
The startups operate across a range of sectors, including compliance technology, SME lending intelligence, artificial intelligence, HealthTech, sovereign AI, fragrance technology and enterprise automation. Participants included Arakan, Duno, YOUNEA, Riayatech, Avelin, SENSI and Cogniver.
Oraseya Capital manages a AED500 million fund targeting technology startups from pre-seed through Series B. Its SANDBOX Investment Program offers potential funding ranging from AED550,000 to approximately AED11 million, alongside mentorship, investment-readiness support and access to the wider startup ecosystem.
Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, said the initiative provides practical pathways for technology startups to connect with investors and access capital and expertise to support growth.
The session forms part of the chamber’s wider efforts to strengthen investor connections, attract investment and reinforce Dubai’s position as a global hub for digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
