The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has launched the fourth edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The latest edition arrives with a broader framework that reflects the UAE's forward-looking economic agenda and the declaration of 2026 as the Year of Family. New and expanded categories now include Emirati Entrepreneurs, Digital Transformation Drivers, Family-Friendly Work Environment, Talent Empowerment Partners, Industry Champions, and Workforce Wellbeing, among others.

The award also recognises individual contributors across a range of roles, from senior leadership to frontline and support staff. Honoured categories span Influential Leaders, Future Skills and Technical Competencies, Corporate Support and Craft Professionals, and Family Caregivers and Specialised Care Providers, underlining the award's commitment to valuing talent at every level of the workforce.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Chairman of the Award's Supervisory Committee, described the award as a platform that promotes a culture of innovation and competitiveness, while upholding standards of transparency and integrity across the UAE's labour market.

Winners stand to gain significant benefits. Companies finishing first will be elevated to the top category in MoHRE's classification system, with discounts on ministry services. All winning companies will receive Diamond tier customer service. For individual winners, the top cash prize is AED 100,000, followed by AED 75,000 for second place and AED 50,000 for third.

Applications are open until 31 August 2026 through the official portal at riyada.mohre.gov.ae, with all entries assessed by specialised committees against established governance criteria.
