The Dubai Press Club has launched the third phase of the Dubai Content Creators Programme, introducing a Cultural Content Creators initiative in partnership with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
The programme kicked off today in Dubai and runs until 19 June.
Designed to equip participants with advanced skills in digital storytelling and creative production, the initiative aims to help a new generation of creators produce culturally rooted content that reflects Dubai's heritage, values and growing creative scene across digital platforms.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, welcomed participants and underscored the programme's role in empowering creators to share Dubai's cultural story with authenticity. She noted that Dubai's rise as a global centre for culture and creativity is underpinned by a vision that presents the city's identity to the world with confidence.
Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, said cultural content is central to how cities preserve identity and connect with global audiences. She described the programme as an investment in the next generation of storytellers, giving them the tools to capture Dubai's spirit in ways that are both authentic and innovative.
The programme includes a series of workshops and interactive sessions led by experts in media, content creation and digital platforms. Participants will develop skills across visual storytelling, audience engagement, idea development and content production, with exposure to modern tools including artificial intelligence.
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, said the launch marks a new milestone in the Club's efforts to build creator capabilities, adding that the collaboration with Dubai Culture reflects a shared commitment to advancing cultural storytelling and expanding opportunities within the city's creative economy.
Previous phases of the programme focused on economic, health and science content in collaboration with government entities and strategic partners.
