The UAE has announced a new visa initiative for retired expats. The announcement comes after the latest cabinet meeting that was held on Tuesday at the Expo 2020 site.
H.H Sheikh Mohammed, Prime Minister of UAE, stated in his latest tweet,
“Today, we decided to approve the requirements needed to grant residency visas for retired expatriates. This will allow retired foreigners to continue their stay in the UAE. We welcome everyone in our country."

This announcement comes after the decision announced in September regarding ‘Green’ and ‘Freelance’ visas.
