The UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) has launched the "Digital Consultation" initiative as part of the government's Zero Bureaucracy Programme, aiming to enhance living standards and create a business-friendly environment.
This initiative invites customers to share their opinions and ideas through the UAE Government portal, focusing on improving the efficiency, quality, and flexibility of the ministry's services while simplifying procedures.
The initiative encourages customer involvement in decision-making by introducing the "Zero Bureaucracy" questionnaire, designed to gather feedback from various customer groups.
Younis Haji Al Khoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, emphasized the initiative's role in understanding customer needs and improving their transaction experiences. He noted that the initiative aligns with the UAE's vision of becoming a global leader in digital government services and supports the broader goals of "We UAE 2031" and "UAE Centennial 2071."
Proposals submitted through the initiative will be carefully evaluated, with the best ideas selected to develop an action plan aimed at reducing bureaucracy. The initiative complements the customer councils launched by the Ministry earlier, which also seek to understand customer experiences.
The "Zero Bureaucracy" questionnaire focuses on three key areas:
- Evaluating current procedures
- Identifying complex services that need improvement
- Gathering innovative ideas to enhance the Ministry's efforts in eliminating bureaucracy
The Ministry emphasises that customer participation is crucial to achieving positive outcomes that will benefit the entire community and contribute to a sustainable future with efficient and flexible services.
