The United Arab Emirates has secured 10th place globally in the Global Soft Power Index 2025, further cementing its reputation as a leader in diplomacy, economic growth, and innovation.
The index, published by Brand Finance, evaluates 193 countries based on insights from 173,000 business leaders, policymakers, and civil society figures, making it one of the most comprehensive assessments of national influence and perception.
The UAE’s Nation Brand value also witnessed a significant rise to $1.223 trillion in 2025, reflecting the country’s expanding global presence. The nation ranked among the top 10 globally in multiple key categories, including 4th in Future Growth Potential, 4th in Generosity, 7th in Economic Strength, 8th in Influence, and 9th in International Relations and Advanced Technology & Innovation.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, emphasized that under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has solidified its role as a trusted global partner in development and stability.
"The UAE has reinforced its position among the world’s most influential nations, ranking 10th globally in the 2025 Global Soft Power Index,"
he stated.
The UAE has also emerged as a major player in business and economic stability, ranking 2nd globally in Ease of Doing Business. The country’s investor-friendly policies and thriving business ecosystem attracted over 200,000 new businesses in 2024 alone. It also ranked 10th in Space Exploration, highlighting its commitment to advancing space research and innovation.
The Global Soft Power Index 2025 was unveiled at the Global Soft Power Summit, bringing together world leaders, business executives, and policymakers. The UAE’s rankings underscore its growing influence across diplomacy, economic resilience, and technological leadership, reinforcing its role as a global powerhouse for innovation and progress.
