The UAE Ministry of Investment, in collaboration with Investopia, co-hosted the exclusive Investopia Global – Monaco event on October 11.
The gathering brought together over 70 high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family office representatives, and investors from Monaco and France to explore the UAE’s expanding investment landscape.
Led by Mohammad Abdulrahman Alhawi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Investment, the UAE delegation featured senior officials from key Emirate-level entities, including Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET), Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT). The event highlighted investment opportunities in sectors such as technology, advanced manufacturing, and renewable energy, in line with the UAE’s economic diversification strategy.
Alhawi underscored the UAE’s global investment appeal, emphasizing its strategic location, world-class infrastructure, and investor-friendly policies.
“The UAE is a gateway to fast-growing markets, offering unparalleled opportunities for businesses to scale regionally and globally,”
he said.
Omar Suwaina Al Suwaidi, Under-Secretary of MoIAT, noted the strong economic ties between the UAE and France, calling Investopia Monaco a platform to foster sustainable partnerships. UAE Ambassador to France, Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the shared vision of both nations as global investment hubs focused on sustainability and growth.
With foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows reaching $30 billion in 2023, the UAE continues to solidify its position as a leading investment destination. The event in Monaco is part of a series of Investopia initiatives held in major cities worldwide, showcasing the UAE’s commitment to fostering global investment.
