Emirates, the largest airline in the Middle East continues to be the top-ranked brand in YouGov’s 2022 Best Brand Rankings for UAE.
YouGov’s latest rankings reveal the Top 10 brands in terms of overall brand health according to consumers in the UAE.
The rankings are based on the Index score from YouGov BrandIndex, which is a measure of overall brand health calculated by taking the average of Impression, Quality, Value, Satisfaction, Recommend, and Reputation.
Adidas, which also came in second this year, has scored 54.7 this year. Nike claimed the third rank while Apple climbed to the fourth rank.
Almarai, the Saudi multinational dairy company, came in fifth this year, followed by Samsung, the iPhone brand by Apple, YouTube, and Whatsapp. The only new entrant this year was Dettol, in tenth place.
The rankings also show the brands which have improved the most over the past 12 months. TikTok is the most improved brand of the past year, with a change in score of +7.4.
Amazon is now second on the list of improvers, followed by HP. Amazon Prime climbed ranks in the movers' list from last year's position to fourth rank this year with a change in score of +3.9, followed by new entrants into the movers' list such as Qatar Airways, Whatsapp, Bluewaters, Domino’s, and Share.
