The UAE VERIFY platform, operated by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), has issued more than 42.926 million digital trusted documents since its launch in 2022, with over 1.252 million documents verified through the system.
The platform currently supports 88 types of digital documents issued by 32 federal and local government entities. Launched in mid-January 2022, it lets government bodies, private-sector entities and individuals instantly confirm the authenticity of official documents without physical copies or certified duplicates.
Individuals can obtain a Trusted Digital Document through the platform’s partners or via UAE PASS, and can share it with third parties across digital channels. Government entities can add their documents to the platform after joining as partners.
Powered by blockchain, the platform operates as a shared, real-time and encrypted ledger that records transactions, contracts and documents. It verifies a document’s authenticity, integrity and validity from the official source, and the technology makes records tamper-proof.
The figures come as the government ecosystem moves towards smarter, more proactive services in 2026. During the year, TDRA launched a programme to help government entities integrate digital identity services into their systems quickly and securely.
The 2026 Digital Government Customer Satisfaction Survey ranked the UAE first globally for satisfaction with digital government services at 89% and for usage at 53%.
UAE VERIFY was introduced under the UAE Digital Government Roadmap 2021 to 2025, which targets 100% digital government services, and supports the UAE Government Services Strategy goals of human-centred services, stronger public trust, global competitiveness, sustainability and operational efficiency.
