UAE-based Ai Media Lab has unveiled Risha.ai, the first integrated artificial intelligence platform built exclusively for Arabic-speaking content creators across the Middle East and North Africa, addressing a long-standing gap in tools designed for the region's language, dialects and cultural identity.
The announcement was made at Creators Gathering, an industry event drawing over 1,000 content creators and media professionals at Atlantis, The Palm Dubai. Organised by Creators HQ, the UAE's first dedicated creators' hub, the gathering features panel discussions and workshops aimed at elevating the quality of Arabic digital content.
Developed by Ai Media Lab, part of UAE-based Visioneers, Risha.ai goes beyond basic language support. The platform handles Arabic diacritics, regional dialects and cultural nuances that global platforms, typically optimised for English, have historically overlooked. It offers an all-in-one creative suite covering scriptwriting, multimedia generation, video production, dubbing and social media management — all within a single workflow.
A standout feature is the region's first dual AI avatar system for interactive podcasts. The platform also draws on the New Media Academy's professional text library to support high-quality Arabic storytelling.
Alia AlHammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, said Risha.ai reflects the UAE's strategic ambition to lead the global content economy and equip a new generation of Arabic media professionals with tools built around their language and culture.
The platform's launch carries significant market context. Arabic content currently accounts for just 3% of global data, despite there being an estimated 420 to 440 million Arabic speakers worldwide. Risha.ai targets 348 million Arabic-speaking internet users, entering a MENA AI market valued at an estimated $33 to $35 billion in 2026 and growing at a 35% compound annual growth rate.
