The Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) 2026 will introduce a dedicated Water Platform to showcase the latest technologies, innovations and smart solutions supporting the future of water resource management.
WETEX 2026 will take place from 20 to 22 October at Dubai World Trade Centre. Located in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3, the Water Platform will bring together international organisations, companies, experts and specialists to exchange knowledge, explore industry developments and discuss ways to improve water efficiency and sustainability.
The platform will focus on advanced solutions designed to create more efficient, resilient and future-ready water systems. Participating companies and organisations will also have opportunities to showcase their products, technologies and services to specialists, decision-makers and investors attending WETEX.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Founder and Chairman of WETEX, highlighted water security as a key pillar of sustainable development, economic growth and quality of life. He noted that population growth, urban expansion and climate change are increasing the need for advanced technologies that improve water resource management and ensure reliable supplies.
The dedicated platform is also expected to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors while creating opportunities for partnerships, investment and the development of solutions addressing current and future water challenges.
Al Tayer said WETEX has evolved over 28 years into a global platform connecting decision-makers, investors, developers, research centres and technology providers. The introduction of a dedicated Water Platform further highlights the importance of water security in supporting sustainable development and the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
WETEX will also host specialised water seminars throughout the three-day exhibition. Sessions will run daily from 11 am to 2:50 pm in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3, with experts discussing new technologies, industry developments and solutions aimed at improving sustainability and operational efficiency across the water sector.
