Ciel, set to be the world’s tallest hotel, is expected to open in Dubai in the first quarter of 2024.
Its developers, The First Group, said that the 82-storey property will be its largest and most complex development to date
The First Group provided further details about the completion benchmarks of the property. It said that work on the structure is now 99 per cent complete, with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), first and second fix work now 80 per cent complete in the building’s basement, podium floors, and storey levels.
The installation of building façade brackets is reportedly complete up to the 72nd floor, and the curtain wall installation has reached the 70th floor.
At present, the convey system installation has reached 53 per cent completion, while the fixation of the steel trusses in the atrium has been completed.
The tiling work has reached 66 per cent completion, and the installation of wall partitions and plastering is 97 per cent complete.
