Brand Dubai has kicked off the sixth edition of its #DubaiDestinations summer campaign, rolling out a wave of promotions, events and discounts across the city from July 7 to August 31.
Organised by the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office in partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the campaign was first launched in 2021 by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. This year's run brings seasonal guides, thematic videos and rewards for residents and visitors booking stays or exploring the city's attractions.
The initiative highlights Dubai's beaches, waterparks, indoor leisure venues and family attractions, alongside its multicultural energy and landmark infrastructure.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said the campaign reflects strong collaboration across Dubai's tourism sector and supports the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33. He noted the partnership with Brand Dubai integrates retail and summer festivals, including Dubai Summer Surprises, into one comprehensive programme for families and visitors from the UAE and abroad.
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, described the campaign as a strategic push to strengthen Dubai's appeal as a year round destination, inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. She thanked partners for supporting its rollout and said the focus remains on content that resonates across nationalities and cultures.
Sara Merdas, part of the campaign's organising team, pointed to renewed efforts to position Dubai as a family friendly destination through digital guides and engaging content for all ages.
This year also features animated videos from content creators, along with social media contributions from influencers and media entities in the UAE and beyond.
