Creators HQ, the UAE’s first dedicated creators’ hub and part of Visioneers, has teamed up with TikTok LIVE to host the region’s first TikTok LIVE Bootcamp, giving a new generation of creators the skills to deliver interactive livestreams.
The four-day programme ran from September 28 to October 1 and drew 37 content creators. It offered hands-on training in planning, producing and hosting livestreams, with the aim of helping participants raise content quality and take a more professional approach.
The curriculum covered four tracks: live streaming fundamentals, content quality and audience engagement, professional tools and equipment, and business opportunities for creators. Sessions looked at structuring a live stream, improving mobile video quality, understanding TikTok’s Community Guidelines and linking short-form video to live growth. Participants also learned about LIVE Studio, camera placement, lighting and audio setups, along with monetisation, talent agency partnerships and brand collaborations.
Hussein Al Atoli, Director of the New Media Academy, said the bootcamp supports creators in turning ideas into impactful content and building sustainable income. He added that investing in creator upskilling strengthens the region’s creative economy.
Boxia Liu, Head of TikTok LIVE MENA and Türkiye, said the programme helps creators explore the potential of LIVE and build positive, safe communities, whether they are preparing for a first livestream or looking to deepen audience connections.
Early results point to quick uptake. Participants produced 118 live-stream sessions during and after the bootcamp, spanning comedy, cooking, real estate, education, travel and daily lifestyle content. One creator recorded a 1,592% increase in impressions.
