Dior has officially inaugurated its new Regional Distribution Centre for the Middle East at EZDubai Logistics Hub in Dubai South, adding another global luxury name to the district's growing logistics ecosystem.
The 7,200 square metre facility spans two levels and will support Dior's operations across the region. It will handle inventory, order fulfilment and boutique replenishment, as well as the brand's expanding e-commerce activities in the UAE. Placing stock closer to regional markets is expected to improve product availability and speed up replenishment across Dior's boutique network.
The inauguration was attended by HE Khalifa Alzaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, and Nabil Alkindi, Group CEO of Dubai South. Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of EZDubai Logistics Hub, joined them, along with Dior's Pierre De Maigret, Anne Borde and Eymeric Joussen, and other senior officials from both organisations.
Alkindi said the launch reflects the confidence international companies continue to place in Dubai as a strategic regional base. He added that Dubai South aims to give businesses an integrated and efficient environment to optimise supply chains and support long-term growth.
Sustainability has been built into the facility's design, which has earned LEED Gold certification. Dior is working to cut the environmental footprint of its logistics by optimising transportation flows, eliminating single-use plastic from packaging and using more sea freight where possible. In the UAE, the brand is also deploying electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries.
The EZDubai Logistics Hub offers direct access to Jebel Ali Port through a bonded logistics corridor and sits close to Al Maktoum International Airport. That location supports multimodal connectivity across air, sea and road for companies in logistics, e-commerce, retail and other sectors.
