Parkin has signed an agreement with Dubai Health to introduce a smart parking management system across the healthcare provider's facilities, with the first phase going live at Rashid Hospital today, September 21.
The system is designed to make parking simpler for patients and visitors, who often arrive at hospitals under pressure and need a smooth, predictable experience from the moment they reach the premises.
Rashid Hospital will serve as the starting point for the rollout. Parkin and Dubai Health are expected to extend the system to other Dubai Health facilities in the coming phases, though timelines for those stages have not yet been shared.
The agreement brings together Parkin's expertise in parking operations and Dubai Health's network of healthcare facilities. By putting a smart management system in place, the partners aim to improve how vehicles move in and out of hospital car parks and reduce the friction that can come with finding a space.
Further details on the system's features and the schedule for the remaining phases are expected to be announced as the rollout progresses.
