Dubai Chambers is gearing up to host the Dubai Business Forum – China in Shenzhen on 14th October 2026, marking a fresh push to strengthen ties with the Chinese business community and attract companies looking to grow their presence in Dubai.
Themed "Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success," the forum will bring together senior government officials, business leaders, investors, and public and private sector representatives to discuss trade, investment, and cooperation between the two markets.
The event comes as several major Chinese technology firms deepen their footprint in Dubai, drawn by the emirate's infrastructure, regulatory support, and connectivity across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Among them is ARIDGE, formerly XPENG AEROHT and now Asia's largest flying car company, which has made Dubai its base for global expansion into advanced air mobility. The firm completed its first public manned flight demonstration outside China in October 2025 and has since secured orders for 600 units across the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait.
Keeta Drone, Meituan's aerial delivery arm, has also expanded rapidly after becoming the first operator in the UAE to receive a Beyond Visual Line of Sight commercial licence in December 2024.
General Manager Junwei Yang credited Dubai's fast regulatory decision-making and close public-private coordination for the company's progress.
Meanwhile, PingPong, a Chinese payment institution, has positioned Dubai as a financial hub linking trade flows between China, the Middle East, and Africa. Co-founder Aaron Lu described the emirate as "a gateway rather than a destination," allowing sellers to manage multiple regional trade corridors through a single UAE-based entity.
Together, these examples underline Dubai's growing role as a launchpad for Chinese innovation and investment heading into the October forum.
