Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jiangsu Chamber of International Commerce (Jiangsu COIC), setting a framework for stronger trade and investment cooperation between Dubai and China’s Jiangsu province.
The agreement was signed at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters by Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Wang Shanhua, Chairman of the Jiangsu Chamber of International Commerce. It establishes a long-term institutional partnership focused on promoting bilateral trade and investment.
Lootah said Dubai Chambers is committed to building constructive partnerships that support the growth of two-way trade and open new opportunities for businesses in both markets. He added that closer links between the two business communities and easier access to promising opportunities will help create valuable partnerships and support shared growth.
Under the MoU, the two sides will work to help companies from Jiangsu, particularly those based in Yancheng, expand into Dubai. Dubai-based firms looking to explore opportunities in Jiangsu will also receive support through business delegations, market-entry assistance and B2B matchmaking.
The agreement further covers potential cooperation on participation in business events, along with the possibility of organising joint trade activities.
The move forms part of Dubai Chambers’ wider effort to expand cooperation with trade and economic organisations across China. By connecting business communities on both sides, the chamber aims to open up new avenues for trade and investment.
