Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has launched the Agentic AI for Government Services Accelerator, a programme designed to help Dubai Government entities prototype and deploy services powered by agentic AI in far shorter timeframes.

The move supports the UAE's ambition to deliver the world's most advanced government services for the AI era.

Run under Dubai Future Accelerators, the programme is organised by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), which DFF oversees, in collaboration with Digital Dubai and the Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC). It aims to simplify customer journeys while maintaining high standards of quality and digital compliance.

The first phase will bring together 33 government entities and assess more than 300 public-facing use cases to identify those with the strongest potential for development using agentic AI. Participants will work with technology companies certified under the Dubai AI Seal, a DCAI initiative that recognises trusted AI firms.

Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, said the programme marks a shift from responding to customer needs to anticipating them. He stressed that the future of digital government depends on an integrated ecosystem of expertise, data and capabilities rather than any single entity.

Khalfan Juma Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, said the launch aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, to make Dubai the world's leading city in adopting agentic AI across government services. He noted that AI allows entities to shorten traditional development cycles considerably.

Yousuf Hamad Al Shaibani, CEO of DESC, said security must be built in from the start. He pointed to the Information Security Regulation in Dubai and the AI Security Policy as frameworks that allow entities to adopt agentic AI responsibly, without compromising compliance, data protection or digital resilience.

The Accelerator will use AI to identify tasks, analyse diverse datasets and model scenarios at speed, then test solutions before moving them quickly into implementation.
