Dubai Holding has crowned HyveGeo, a UAE-born desert greening scale-up, as the winner of its Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator 2025, awarding the company AED500,000 and a fully funded pilot opportunity within Dubai Holding's ecosystem.
The announcement was made at Demo Day, held at the Theatre of Digital Art in Souk Madinat Jumeirah, marking the conclusion of a rigorous 12-week hybrid accelerator that ran from January to April 2026. The event was attended by Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding, alongside senior leadership from across the Group.
Founded by Abdulaziz Bin Redha, HyveGeo has developed a biochar-based soil additive that uses climate engineering, biology and artificial intelligence to strengthen food, water and climate security. The company also received one year of access to in5, TECOM Group's startup incubator, and was voted Top Innovator by the audience on the day.
Norway-based Cycled Technologies, founded by Ayoola Brimmo, took first runner-up and AED250,000 for its automated waste-sorting technology embedded directly into bins. CO2Wall, a Netherlands-based scale-up focused on AI-driven living green walls and roofs, was named second runner-up and received AED100,000.
The programme drew over 1,400 submissions from 93 countries, with 15 scale-ups selected to complete the accelerator. It is delivered in partnership with in5 and execution partner BOLT, and aligns with national targets including UAE Net Zero by 2050 and UAE Circular Economy Policy 2031.
Group Chief Impact Officer Huda Buhumaid said the programme reflects Dubai Holding's commitment to building long-term platforms that enable high-potential founders to drive systemic change within a collaborative ecosystem.
