Dubai Land Department has taken a significant step in strengthening national participation in the property sector, bringing together developers and Emirati entrepreneurs in a focused initiative designed to bridge training with real-world opportunity.

Organised in collaboration with Dubai Silicon Oasis, the interactive meeting connected real estate developers with participants of the Emirati Real Estate Business Incubator Programme. The session marked a key milestone in the programme’s first phase, offering direct engagement, knowledge exchange, and pathways into active market participation.

The initiative forms part of the UAE’s broader push to position itself as a global entrepreneurship hub under the national campaign led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Through partnerships with institutions including the New Economy Academy and Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai, the programme is structured to equip Emirati brokers with the tools to launch and manage their own real estate ventures.

During the session, developers provided participants with access to live projects, market data, and marketing opportunities, helping translate commitments into tangible outcomes. The meeting also supported the formalisation of partnerships, reinforcing the role of public and private sector collaboration in talent development.

Officials highlighted the programme’s shift from theory to application. Badr Buhannad, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis, said the initiative accelerates participants’ transition into building sustainable real estate businesses. Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Al Shehhi, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, described the programme as a key pillar in ensuring long-term sector resilience.

The session also featured mentorship opportunities, expert guidance, and insights into current market dynamics, providing participants with a clearer understanding of industry expectations as they prepare to enter Dubai’s competitive real estate landscape.
