The Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO) and MONIIFY, the financial-intelligence platform for Gen Z and Millennial audiences across MENA, have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding to advance talent development and content creation across the region's media sector.
The agreement was signed during the Arab Media Summit 2026 in the presence of Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and Director-General of GDMO. Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, signed on behalf of GDMO, while Albert Shafik, MONIIFY's Chief Operating Officer, signed for the platform.
The partnership responds to shifts in the media landscape driven by artificial intelligence and evolving audience habits. Under the MoU, the two organisations will collaborate on workshops, masterclasses and training sessions, alongside knowledge exchange and joint participation in industry programmes and events.
Al Mulla said the collaboration reflects the value of pairing media institutions with specialised expertise to prepare a new generation of talent for a fast-changing sector, offering practical learning opportunities in digital content creation. She noted the agreement supports the summit's broader focus on nurturing emerging talent and strengthening readiness to apply AI and modern technologies in media production.
Shafik said the framework reflects a shared commitment to developing future media professionals and driving innovation, adding that MONIIFY looks forward to contributing practical experience to Dubai's ambitions for a modern, future-ready media sector.
As part of the agreement, MONIIFY will lead a series of masterclasses, podcasts and panel discussions during the summit focused on financial content for younger audiences. Sessions will address identifying the right audience angle, sourcing credible information, translating complex topics into engaging narratives and applying AI and creative production tools to content creation.
