Dubai will host the ninth edition of the National Service Career Fair from 15 to 17 July at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, bringing together thousands of National Service recruits with employers across more than 10 key sectors.
The three day event is organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding, and held under the patronage of the Ministry of Defence through the National Service and Reserve Authority (NSRA). Organisers expect more than 55 exhibitors and over 20,000 participants from the National Service programme, including both young men and women.
The fair connects recruits and graduates with government and private sector institutions as well as more than 9 universities and academic bodies. Attendees will have the chance to take part in on the spot interviews and guidance sessions led by human resources professionals, while participating companies can build talent databases for future hiring needs.
The event forms part of NSRA's broader push to align the outcomes of National Service with labour market needs, turning the discipline and responsibility instilled during service into structured career paths. Organisers say the initiative also supports Emiratisation goals and reflects the UAE leadership's wider vision of empowering citizens to take an active role in national development.
This year's edition is sponsored by INDEX Media, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), Edge, Kalba University, University of Al Dhaid, Higher Colleges of Technology, Bin Hammouda Group and Salt Recruitment.
The fair has grown into one of the most anticipated annual events for National Service participants, seen as a marker of the country's investment in its youth. Beyond job placement, organisers describe it as a platform that reinforces a sense of belonging and underscores the role recruits play as partners in the UAE's continued growth and stability.
