Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has teamed up with -45dB, a specialist in sound-reduced modular structures, to roll out private meeting pods and flexible spaces across its flagship venues, including the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre.

The partnership addresses a persistent challenge in large-scale event environments: the need for quiet, confidential spaces within high-traffic exhibition halls. The modular structures are engineered to deliver up to 45 decibels of sound reduction, making them suitable for private meetings, content production, and focused business discussions.

The offering spans compact meeting pods to fully scalable configurations that can be assembled into conference rooms and breakout areas. Built as turnkey, plug-and-play installations, the structures require minimal on-site setup, allowing for faster deployment without disrupting venue floorplans.

Under the agreement, -45dB will handle direct delivery and installation for organisers and exhibitors, while DWTC will promote the offering through its sales channels and across its event portfolio.

Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President at Dubai World Trade Centre, said the partnership reflects the organisation's commitment to improving engagement quality within its venues and embedding sustainability more meaningfully into the event lifecycle.

The move is part of DWTC's broader push to modernise its infrastructure and strengthen its integrated venue proposition as competition among major global event destinations continues to intensify.
