Dubai's Community Development Authority (CDA) has launched the Nuwat Dubai initiative under the Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Family Programme, marking a significant step in the emirate's push to reinforce family stability and community wellbeing.

The initiative is directly aligned with the Dubai Social Agenda 33, which places family development at the heart of the city's long-term social priorities. It also spotlights the role of the Dubai Weddings programme in improving quality of life and celebrating community achievement.

The launch event was held at Coffee Lab in Al Khawaneej and drew representatives from supporting entities, strategic partners, and broad community participation. Attendees had access to personality analysis sessions, family and psychological consultations, community competitions, and prizes provided by National Bonds, creating an interactive environment designed to connect families with the initiative's core goals.

Dr. Namaa Al Shamsi, Director of the Family Development Department at the CDA, described Nuwat Dubai as a qualitative step in building a cohesive and sustainable society.

"The CDA is committed to developing sustainable community initiatives that align with Dubai's future aspirations, contribute to strengthening families' psychological and social stability, and build more effective communication channels between families and supporting institutions,"

she said.

Dr. Al Shamsi added that the initiative reflects a broader CDA approach to developing an integrated social services system that addresses real community needs, with family awareness and safe, supportive environments forming the foundation of sustainable social development in Dubai.

Nuwat Dubai is part of a wider series of community-driven programmes the CDA continues to roll out, offering families interactive platforms and innovative tools to navigate social and psychological challenges while reinforcing Dubai's standing as a premier city for living, working, and raising families.
