Emirates will fly its flagship Airbus A380 on the Dubai-Delhi route starting October 25, making the Indian capital the third city in the country to receive the double-decker aircraft after Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The four-class A380 will operate alongside the airline's retrofitted four-class Boeing 777 aircraft across its four daily services between Dubai and Delhi. Both aircraft types will feature Emirates' Premium Economy cabin.

Adnan Kazim Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer said the move reflects the airline's commitment to meeting rising demand for travel between the UAE and India. He noted that Delhi's addition to the A380 network builds on the aircraft's established presence in the Indian market.

Emirates is also widening access to its Premium Economy product across India. By the end of October the cabin class will be available on six routes serving Delhi Mumbai Ahmedabad Bengaluru Kolkata and Kochi. This expansion means Premium Economy will cover nearly half of the airline's scheduled weekly flights to India.

Kazim said the rollout gives Indian travellers greater choice when planning their journeys and signalled that additional service enhancements are in the works. He described the move as part of Emirates' ongoing partnership with India and ongoing investment in its customer experience.

The expansion comes as Emirates continues to strengthen its footprint in one of its largest and fastest growing markets. With three Indian cities now served by the A380 and Premium Economy reaching a broader network the airline is positioning itself to capture continued growth in demand for premium travel between India and the Gulf region.
