Jebel Ali Free Zone has secured AED854 million in investment commitments in the first four months of 2026, reinforcing its standing as one of the region's most sought-after trade and industrial destinations.
The funds represent commitments by Jafza tenants to develop and expand facilities across a range of sectors including manufacturing, logistics, food production, healthcare, vehicle handling and heavy equipment. More than 43% of the total, by value, was committed in March and April alone, pointing to strong and accelerating momentum.
The investment mix spans steel, food and furniture manufacturers scaling up production, healthcare businesses establishing long-term footholds in Dubai, third-party logistics providers expanding warehousing capacity, and heavy equipment traders catering to the construction and industrial sectors.
Home to 12,000 businesses, Jafza sits adjacent to Jebel Ali Port and offers integrated sea, air and land connectivity, making it a natural base for companies serving markets across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
Abdulla Al Hashmi, Global Chief Operating Officer for Parks and Economic Zones at DP World, said the scale of commitments reflects a clear shift in how businesses are thinking about the future.
"Many large tenants are choosing to anchor their regional and global operations in Dubai for the coming decades,"
he said, adding that the results also highlight the free zone's role in keeping supply chains resilient amid recent global disruptions.
Al Hashmi said DP World remains focused on expanding infrastructure and capabilities to meet growing demand and deliver long-term value for tenants.
The figures add to a broader narrative of Dubai cementing its position as a leading global hub for trade, logistics and industrial activity.
