Museum of the Future Opens Applications for 'Future Perfects' to Shape Its Visitor Experience

Dubai’s Museum of the Future has opened applications for a new job title, “Future Perfects,” launching an unconventional talent search for people who will become the human face of its visitor experience as it prepares to reopen in 2027.

The Museum is looking for individuals with imagination, curiosity, emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and adaptability. Selected candidates will join the Visitor Experience team in full-time roles from November 2026, helping bring a reimagined visitor experience and narrative to life. Previous experience in museums or customer service is not required.

A Future Perfect is part guide and part storyteller, someone who can welcome visitors, spark curiosity and turn complex ideas into engaging conversations for people of different ages, cultures and backgrounds. Rather than asking candidates to describe these qualities, the Museum wants to see them in action through live assessments.

The process begins with online applications, followed by live assessments and shortlisting. Shortlisted candidates will then move to a final casting day with live auditions before an expert judging panel. Applications are open until November 8 through the official Future Perfects portal at futureperfects.museumofthefuture.ae. The public can also nominate people they believe would make exceptional Future Perfects through the Museum’s social media channels.

Azza AlNuaimi, COO of Museum of the Future, said the qualities the Museum is seeking cannot be measured by a degree, a job title or years of experience. She said the search reflects Dubai’s belief in recognising potential beyond conventional paths, and that the Museum wants people who may never have imagined working in a museum but have exactly what a museum of the future needs.

Since opening in 2022, the Museum has welcomed more than five million visitors from over 180 nationalities.
