The Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has recently joined forces with the Ministry of Economy (MoE) to extend support to Emirati-owned Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
In a concerted effort to bolster the growth and development of these businesses, the two ministries have taken a significant step by reducing the fees associated with obtaining the National ICV (In-Country Value) certificate for SMEs registered in the MoE's "National program for SME."
Eligible SMEs can now acquire the National ICV certificate at the reduced cost of 500 DHS. This initiative aims to empower Emirati entrepreneurs and stimulate the local economy through increased incentives and support.
Esteemed stakeholders are encouraged to disseminate this vital information within their respective networks and among their members. With the reduced fee now in effect, Emirati-owned SMEs registered in the "National program for SME" have the opportunity to acquire the National ICV certificate at a significantly lower cost, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and reinforcing their commitment to promoting local value.
To avail of this incentive, interested companies should promptly send their certificate request to icv@moiat.gov.ae. The dedicated team at MoIAT will extend full support throughout the application process, ensuring a seamless experience for aspiring Emirati entrepreneurs.
By facilitating these measures, the Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology and the Ministry of Economy aim to strengthen the foundation for sustainable growth within the SME sector, fostering an environment that nurtures innovation, resilience, and competitiveness among Emirati-owned businesses.
For any further inquiries or clarifications, stakeholders are encouraged to reach out to MoIAT's dedicated support team via email: icv@moiat.gov.ae.
