Indian content creator Prajakta Koli has been appointed as an ambassador for the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest gathering of content creators.
Scheduled to take place in Dubai from January 11 to 13, 2025, the summit will focus on the theme Content for Good.
Koli, based in Mumbai, will join other prominent ambassadors in promoting the event via social media, raising awareness of its initiatives, and engaging audiences in meaningful conversations. She expressed her excitement about the appointment, stating,
"I’m excited to be part of the summit’s ambassadors. I look forward to working with the Summit team to elevate their inspiring message and produce content that intellectually resonates with audiences."
As an ambassador, Koli will gain exclusive access to networking opportunities with industry leaders, influencers, and high-profile attendees, further enhancing her personal brand. Known for her YouTube channel MostlySane, which features comedy and observational humour, Koli has garnered over 17 million followers since launching the channel in 2015. She is also recognized for her role in Netflix’s Mismatched.
Beyond content creation, Koli has made a mark in climate advocacy, serving as India’s Youth Climate Champion for the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and representing India at both Climate Week 2024 in New York and COP28 in the UAE.
With over 15,000 participants expected, the Summit will bring together content creators, entrepreneurs, and investors, fostering innovation in the global content industry.
