The Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) has unveiled ENEC Consulting, a new advisory subsidiary aimed at supporting nations and organizations in developing peaceful nuclear energy programs and infrastructure.

Building on over 15 years of experience, including the successful delivery of the UAE’s Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant, ENEC Consulting will offer expertise across the nuclear energy lifecycle—from strategic advisory to operational readiness and workforce development.

The launch reflects ENEC’s mission to share its success in nuclear energy project delivery and promote responsible global nuclear energy growth. Mohamed Al Hammadi, Managing Director and CEO of ENEC, emphasized the critical role of nuclear energy in meeting the rising demand for clean electricity.

“The UAE has added more clean electricity per capita than any other nation globally in the past five years, with 75% generated by the Barakah Plant,”

he noted.

“ENEC Consulting is poised to help other countries achieve energy security and sustainability.”

General Manager Mohamed Al Braiki highlighted ENEC Consulting’s readiness to support the global push to triple nuclear energy capacity by 2050, a commitment launched at COP28 and supported by 31 countries.

“Barakah proves that nuclear projects can be delivered on time, cost-efficiently, and in compliance with international standards,”

said Al Braiki.

“Our goal is to accelerate decarbonization through sustainable nuclear energy solutions.”

ENEC Consulting will provide services spanning project management, regulatory frameworks, financing models, and capacity building, while promoting safety and operational excellence. The initiative aligns with the UAE’s commitment to global decarbonization and its vision to become a leader in responsible nuclear energy development.
