The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has organised a workshop to provide an orientation about the UAE Health Research Platform, developed in collaboration with Elsevier and the National Centre for Health Research.
The workshop highlighted the Health Research Platform's capabilities and its significance to health institutions and academic bodies, offering access to UAE health research and researchers' data since 2017. Launched at Arab Health 2024, it's the first of its kind in the GCC and Arab regions, promoting collaboration and communication.
Dr. Mohammed Al Olama highlighted the Health Research Platform's role in fostering data-driven planning and innovation in the health sector, and its importance in documenting research and enhancing cooperation between academic and health institutions.
He further stated that the Ministry will continue to extend full support to the platform and all related efforts to promote health research in the country, aiming to positively impact the health of the community through the outcomes of this research.
