Make-A-Wish UAE has signed a cooperation agreement with Mediclinic Middle East to grant the wishes of children receiving medical care at Mediclinic facilities, offering young patients and their families moments of hope and joy during treatment.
The signing ceremony was attended by Hani Al Zubaidi, Chief Executive Officer of Make-A-Wish UAE, and Ahmed Ali, Executive Director of Mediclinic Middle East, along with representatives from both organizations.
Under the agreement, the two parties will work together to fulfil the wishes of eligible children, turning them into memorable experiences that lift spirits and support emotional wellbeing. The partnership also underlines the role of humanitarian collaboration in creating lasting impact for families.
The move forms part of Make-A-Wish UAE’s push to build strategic partnerships with leading healthcare institutions and bring medical care closer to psychological and humanitarian support. The foundation believes a granted wish can play a meaningful part in a child’s treatment journey.
Al Zubaidi described the agreement as a distinguished model of integration between healthcare and humanitarian work. “A wish is not merely a fleeting moment, but rather a meaningful human experience that can leave a profound impact on a child,” he said, adding that the partnership will help the foundation reach more children facing serious health challenges.
Ali said caring for children goes beyond medical treatment and includes supporting the emotional wellbeing of both patients and their families. He said the partnership will help more children experience joy, hope and strength during difficult times.
Make-A-Wish UAE continues to expand its collaborations with healthcare institutions, national organizations and the private sector as it works to reach more children and turn its mission into meaningful experiences.
