Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for AI, emphasized expanding specialized dialogues to study AI's impact on vital sectors, shaping a new landscape integrating AI into work and life.

This initiative, led by the UAE government, aims to solidify global digital leadership, exemplified in the 'AI Majlis' sessions focusing on AI in healthcare development.

Al Olama emphasized collaborative efforts among government, private sector, and academia to harness AI's potential in healthcare, maximizing benefits and addressing challenges. The AI Majlis session delved into integrating AI into healthcare, with experts discussing its transformative impact and advocating for proactive collaboration to innovate solutions.

Dr. Amin Hussain Al Amiri, UAE Ministry of Health, emphasizes AI's role in healthcare, from diagnosis to admin tasks, enhancing patient experience and healthcare quality. UAE integrates AI for disease detection and prevention, leveraging electronic medical records and legislations to ensure safe and efficient utilization while protecting patient data.

Dr. Scott Penberthy, Director of Applied AI and CTO of Healthcare and Life Sciences, Google Cloud, said,

“AI is the healthcare revolution we've all been waiting for, and it's happening now - powered by nanoscale data, analysed by hyperscale AI. Programmes such as the AI Majlis bring our best AI minds together, working on shared missions. I'm deeply honoured to participate and hope to return soon."

The AI Majlis series focuses on a set of goals aimed at developing the infrastructure related to artificial intelligence applications and providing support, including hosting international experts discussing key topics such as future technologies, the future of work, sustainability, education, healthcare, and other vital sectors centred around human-centric approaches.
