With the ease of restrictions post-pandemic, this Ramadan in Dubai is already looking up, quite literally. During the Holy Month, Burj Khalifa is set to light up everyday with Azan shows.
The islamic call to prayer will be broadcast on the tallest tower in the world with a number of different Imams giving the prayer call.
The Azan show will be displayed at Maghrib and Isha prayer times daily in the Month of Ramadan.
The Burj Khalifa will be lighting up with the phrases of the Islamic prayer: Hayya las Salah, which translates to 'Come for prayer' with beautiful patterns across the tower.
With a very positive feedback from the audience, this has also been the most 'normal' Ramadan since the pandemic hit, as mosques are back to hosting the Taraweeh prayers and Iftar tents make their comeback.
