October in Dubai arrives with the city's calendar already in full swing. The month opens with a sand-covered stage at Mall of the Emirates and closes with a runway week at d3, and in between there are Queen anthems at Dubai Opera, Carl Cox opening a new season on the Pacha ICONS dance floor and a full run of Dubai Comedy Festival nights. Add Nancy Ajram, elrow and a village run through the desert, and the only real challenge is choosing which nights to book.

The Amphibian Man

Dubai audiences are in for a spectacular treat as The Amphibian Man makes its debut at New Covent Garden Theatre, Mall of the Emirates, on October 1. This bold reimagining of Alexander Belyaev's classic novel follows Ichthyander, the legendary Sea Devil, through themes of love, identity, power, nature and technology. Expect striking visuals, live music, a giant aero screen and a stage covered in real sand. Tickets range from AED 350 to AED 500.

The Korean Market

Dubai gets a final taste of Korean culture as The Korean Market opens at Al Ghurair Centre from October 1 to 4, closing out the Dubai K-Fest season. Browse Korean retail and food stalls, join workshops like Taeguk Fan Painting and Hangeul Calligraphy, and try games such as Ddakji Flip and Tteokbokki Toss. K-pop dance, live entertainment and photo spots complete the fun. Entry is free, with doors open 5pm to 10pm on weekdays and 4pm to 10pm on weekends.

Najwa Karam Live

Dubai fans are in for a spectacular night as Lebanese music icon Najwa Karam takes the stage at Coca-Cola Arena on October 2. Expect crowd favourites like Yelaan Elboaad, Hayda Haki, Khallini Shoufak and Maloun Abu Eleshq, all delivered with her commanding vocals and a fresh spin on traditional Lebanese sound. Doors open one hour before showtime. Tickets range from AED 150 to AED 1995.

Alaa Abu Diab Live

Dubai comedy fans, get ready to laugh as Alaa Abu Diab brings his hit stand-up show to Rajmahal Theatre at Dubai Parks and Resorts on October 3. He turns AI, virtual realities, therapy, social media and generational differences into hilarious observations, with plenty of relatable humour drawn from life as an Arab in Europe. After more than 100 sold-out performances, this is his second and final Dubai show. Tickets range from AED 220 to AED 400.

Bohemia Presents Lost Frequencies

Beachfront Saturdays are back as Bohemia Presents returns to Bohemia Beach Club at FIVE Palm Jumeirah on October 3, headlined by Belgian star Lost Frequencies. The hitmaker behind Are You With Me, Reality and Where Are You Now brings his melodic house sound, six billion streams and Tomorrowland credentials to a night under the stars. General access is AED 100 for ladies and AED 150 for men, VIP zone starts at AED 350 and backstage dancing is AED 500.

Baithak ft. Osman Mir & Aamir Mir

Dubai music lovers are in for a soulful treat as acclaimed singer Osman Mir takes the stage with his son Aamir Mir at Baithak, Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, on October 3. This father-son duo brings powerful vocals, timeless melodies and nostalgic ghazals to an intimate evening that captures the spirit of a traditional mehfil. Omar El Gamal Live

Dubai comedy fans, get ready for a night of big laughs as Omar El Gamal brings his interactive show to New Covent Garden Theatre, Mall of the Emirates, on October 4. She won Best Newcomer at the 2015 German Comedy Awards and became the first European woman to release a Netflix Original comedy special with Ehrenwort in 2018. Bohemia Presents THEMBA

Emirates Villages Run Series 2026
