Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) will launch Pink Caravan's 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign on October 1, offering free screenings, community events and awareness sessions across the UAE throughout the month.
The campaign builds on last year's edition, which delivered more than 19,000 free screenings to over 19,700 participants. This year's programme expands opportunities for individuals, families, companies and communities to get involved and prioritise breast health.
Nine fixed Pink Caravan clinics will operate across the UAE during October, in locations including Mushrif Mall in Abu Dhabi, City Walk in Dubai, Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah and RAK Mall in Ras Al Khaimah, among others. Mobile and mini mobile clinics will also travel to residential areas, shopping destinations, universities and workplaces, offering free clinical breast examinations and mammograms based on eligibility.
Corporate clinic bookings, Employee Wellness Days and awareness sessions will bring the campaign into workplaces and educational institutions, educating participants on breast health, warning signs and the importance of regular screening.
Aisha Al Mulla, Director at FOCP, said early detection remains one of the most powerful tools for improving breast cancer outcomes, adding that this year's campaign also encourages families and communities to play a bigger role in prompting loved ones to prioritise their health.
The Pink Caravan Community Event returns to Aljada, Sharjah, from October 2 to 4 in partnership with Arada, running daily from 5pm to 11pm with free screenings, workshops, gaming zones and children's entertainment.
Crescent Petroleum joins as Main Partner, with support from Arada, SNOC, Habib Bank and several other organisations. Medical partners including Zulekha Hospital and University Hospital Sharjah will support referrals for further investigation.
The public can participate by booking screenings, joining community activations or organising workplace wellness initiatives throughout October.
