Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) has broken ground on two major developments — PIXEL DHCC and IBN SINA+ — marking a significant milestone in the first phase of its AED1.3 billion development programme aimed at cementing Dubai's status as a global healthcare hub.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by DHCA CEO Issam Galadari, alongside senior officials and key project stakeholders, including representatives from International Foundation Group, Design and Architecture Bureau (DAR) and P&T Architects and Engineers Ltd.
Both developments are scheduled for completion by November 2027.
PIXEL DHCC is a LEED platinum-certified office building — the first of its kind within Dubai Healthcare City. Designed by P&T Architects and Engineers Ltd, the nine-floor structure spans 13,000 square metres, offering a mix of flexible office units and ground-floor commercial spaces.
IBN SINA+ is a purpose-built medical complex designed by Dubai-based DAR. Covering 5,800 square metres across five floors, the shell-and-core structure will house surgical, diagnostic, outpatient and medical office facilities. It serves as an extension of the existing IBN SINA facility within the community.
Galadari said the projects reflect DHCA's commitment to delivering world-class, sustainable infrastructure that strengthens the free zone's integrated ecosystem and attracts foreign direct investment. He added that the developments align with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy.
To support the growing community, DHCA is also delivering complementary infrastructure to improve accessibility across the broader Dubai Healthcare City district.
Together, the two developments represent a concrete step forward in DHCA's long-term vision to position Dubai Healthcare City as a leading destination for healthcare investment, innovation and wellness on the global stage.
