How did you initially come up with the idea or concept for the business?
Let's Talk Counseling was founded by Asia Al Jasmi (BCoun & M.Ed) in 2016 after 9 years of experience in the counseling field. She has had extensive experience in offering her services to various government bodies, educational institutions, businesses and individuals. These years of experience highlighted the great need for genuine and sincere counselling guidance within the UAE community.
Tell us about some of the major turning points in the history of your business.
The turning point for me is the fact that holding many workshops and individual counselling sessions is something that helps me give value to the people. Collaborating with partners has also been something that gives me experience and makes me open to new ideas. The fact that I saw change in people before and after the workshops or counselling sessions I've held will always be a turning point.
What made you choose Dubai as a location to setup your business?
The main reason is because I am A national from Dubai. Setting up the business here is convenient and also helps me to reach out to people as there haven't been many counselling centers In the Emirates around the time of 2016
Finally, what sets your business apart from the competition?
Since the focus is family and mothers; Inculcating values in families. I think that these approaches differentiate me from the other companies as I feel that mothers are the key that hold the family together.
