The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has extended its visa-on-arrival program for Indian nationals, now including those holding valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from six additional countries.

Effective February 13, 2025, Indian citizens with ordinary passports and valid permits from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada will be eligible for visas upon arrival at all UAE entry points. These nations join the United States, European Union, and the United Kingdom, which were already part of the program.

The announcement was made by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security, underscoring the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with India. This initiative is expected to boost tourism, attract skilled professionals, and encourage entrepreneurship, reinforcing the UAE’s status as a global business and travel hub.

Eligible travelers must ensure their passports are valid for at least six months and pay the required fees in accordance with UAE regulations.

This move is set to further enhance connectivity between the UAE and key global markets while making travel easier for Indian nationals seeking opportunities in the Emirates.
