Disney+ has rolled out its new app in the UAE, bringing more personalized recommendations, expanded parental controls and greater flexibility for customers who travel.

The redesigned app features a dynamic homepage and simplified navigation. Recommendations draw on individual viewing habits and on what is popular in the country. It also makes content easier to find across Disney+, Hulu and ESPN, and supports up to 25 audio and subtitle languages, with high-quality video and sound on supported devices. Subscribers can keep watching their favorite titles across supported markets in Europe, the United States and beyond.

A key addition is Junior Mode, which gives younger viewers their own dedicated space with an easy-to-use interface and age-appropriate shows and movies. It sits alongside existing parental tools, including PIN-protected profiles, customizable content ratings and account notifications for profile changes.

The platform offers content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Hulu and FX. Upcoming and current titles include Season 8 of "The Kardashians", Season 23 of "Grey's Anatomy", Season 38 of "The Simpsons" and Marvel Television's "VisionQuest". Families can look forward to Disney's live-action "Moana" later this autumn. Turkish hit "Halef" is also coming to the platform, alongside Korean entertainment such as "Merry Berry Love", which is streaming now, and "The Remarried Empress", arriving November 4.

Existing customers will be prompted to download the new app and sign in with their current credentials. On-screen steps guide them through account confirmation and profile setup.

Disney+ is available from AED 49.99 per month, with no hidden costs and the option to cancel anytime.
