Dubai Healthcare City Authority has rolled out a package of economic support measures aimed at easing financial pressures on businesses and strengthening long-term growth across its free zone.

The initiative targets companies operating within Dubai Healthcare City, offering relief on licensing and leasing obligations while improving cash flow flexibility. The move aligns with Dubai’s broader strategy to reinforce key sectors and ensure resilience amid evolving market conditions.

Dubai Healthcare City Authority confirmed that businesses renewing commercial licences between 1 April and 30 June 2026 will benefit from waived reinstatement fees and late renewal penalties. Companies will also have the option to pay renewal fees through structured instalment plans, including post-dated cheques, extending until 30 September 2026.

Additional support focuses on leasing arrangements within the free zone. Businesses can request the postponement or restructuring of due cheques into instalments, with both deferment charges and cheque return fees waived.

Issam Galadari, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, said the measures reflect the authority’s commitment to supporting its partners and ensuring operational sustainability. He noted that the initiative is part of a wider effort to create a stable and enabling environment for investment and growth within the healthcare ecosystem.

Eligible businesses can apply for the measures within the specified timelines. The authority reaffirmed its focus on helping partners explore new opportunities for expansion, as Dubai continues to position itself as a hub for specialised healthcare services and innovation.
