DWTC Hospitality achieved record-breaking performance in 2025, serving 1.28 million guests across 2,578 events, marking a 37 percent increase from 930,000 guests in 2024.
The results underscore the division’s growing role in strengthening Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for business tourism and large-scale events.
The hospitality arm of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) announced the annual results today, highlighting its continued expansion across government, corporate, and private sector catering. Operations spanned flagship venues including the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai Exhibition Centre, and Jafza One Convention Centre, along with external locations across the UAE.
Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President at Dubai World Trade Centre, said DWTC Hospitality plays a central role in supporting Dubai’s events ecosystem by delivering large-scale operations with consistent service quality and execution.
Exhibition catering emerged as the strongest growth segment, exceeding 240,000 guests in 2025 compared with 120,000 the previous year. Growth was driven by major events including Gulfood, World Health Expo Dubai, Arabian Travel Market, and GITEX Global, alongside international delivery at GITEX Africa in Morocco.
Corporate and private events also saw strong momentum, with more than 600,000 guests served, up from 400,000 in 2024. Conferences and business meetings accounted for over 123,000 attendees, while weddings contributed 56,554 guests.
Off-site catering operations grew 12 percent, serving over 160,000 guests across 1,211 events, including high-profile engagements such as the Dubai International Boat Show, Dubai World Cup, and the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Julfar added that DWTC Hospitality aims to further strengthen partnerships, invest in culinary innovation, and expand sustainable practices as Dubai’s events industry continues to scale and evolve globally.
