The fifth edition of the Interdisciplinary Urology Care Consortium (IUCC 2025) opened today in Dubai, uniting over 800 healthcare professionals, 80 expert speakers, and more than 30 industry-leading companies from across the Middle East.
Held under the theme “Transcending Therapies, Driving Technologies,” the event shines a spotlight on the growing role of artificial intelligence in advancing urological care. Key areas of focus include Uro-Oncology, Kidney Care, Men’s Health, and Robotic-Assisted Surgery, with discussions aimed at integrating technology with clinical excellence.
Dr. Yasser Farahat, IUCC Co-Chair and leading figure in regional and international urology circles, stressed the importance of a collaborative, patient-centric approach.
“IUCC 2025 stands as a testament to our deep conviction that patient care must go beyond treating diseases in isolation,”
he said.
“It requires a holistic understanding and interdisciplinary collaboration.”
This year’s programme features seven scientific sessions, over five hands-on workshops led by global experts, and more than 25 poster presentations showcasing new research. Attendees can also earn 14 CME credits accredited by the Dubai Health Authority. Cutting-edge tools, including AI-powered education and virtual/augmented reality applications, are also on display.
Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Chairman of INDEX Holding, which organises the event, noted Dubai’s rising profile as a global hub for specialised medical conferences.
“IUCC reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare dialogue and supporting medical tourism,”
he said.
Supported by key regional and international societies, IUCC 2025 continues to serve as a pivotal platform for shaping the future of urological care across the Middle East and beyond.
